On the ground in Miami-Dade

A Vertical County Needs a Real Plan.

Miami-Dade isn't one job. A downtown high-rise, a Kendall medical office, a Miami Beach event, and a Homestead site are four different problems. ARDENT works these properties every day, with the structure to plan each one for what it actually is, and the reach to answer fast when something breaks.

Built for high-rise density

Towers, mixed-use, and large multifamily communities are the county's signature. Access control, front desk, patrol, and the resident experience that comes with a building people call home.

Ready when it can't wait

A provider that no-showed, or a fire panel down tonight in a full tower. Our Emergency Response Team is a standing bench of Officers kept ready for exactly that, often on site within 24 hours, and Fire Watch sooner.

The same standard, every site

A single event or Officers on your property every day, the standard doesn't change. Post orders written for your site, Supervisor checks, and reporting you'll actually read.

Density is the backdrop. In Miami-Dade, the work takes four forms.

How our way works

Putting an Officer on a Post
Is the Easy Part.

The ARDENT Operating Standard is the name we give to five things that happen around every Officer we place, on every Miami-Dade site, whether it's one night or five years.

1

Post Orders for Your Site

Written for your property, built with you during startup, and kept current as the site changes.

2

Trained, Vetted Officers

Every ARDENT Officer completes 16 hours of ARDENT training on top of Florida's required 40-hour Class D certification, before they ever stand a post.

3

ERT Site Checks

Scheduled and unannounced. An Emergency Response Team Officer verifies the post against the orders, then tells you what they found.

4

Reporting You'll Read

Clear, concise, complete, accurate. Sent to you. Not filed somewhere for us.

5

A 30-Day Startup

Six defined phases, from assessment to first shift. A process, not a hope.

Most security problems aren't caused by a bad Officer. They're caused by a company that placed one and walked away.

That's the standard we hold. The fairer question is what it looks like on the ground.

Across the county

What Reliable Actually Looks Like.

Across Miami-Dade, ARDENT covers high-rise and multifamily communities, medical offices, event venues, and the private clients who move through a busy city. Reliability is the whole product, and the people who have it tend to say so, in their own words.

"We hired Ardent to protect our neighborhood, they are fantastic about communication and the staff is very friendly. We've noticed a drastic reduction in traffic in the community and have a much better sense of safety when the Ardent team is present."

Nero DeliwalaCommunity / HOA · Google review

"Even on short notice Ardent has had officers onsite the next day after we request them. The officers have always been very professional to work with."

Reliable coverage is the promise. In a county full of towers, one kind of call tests it faster than any other.

Fire Watch

When a Fire System Goes Down,
the Clock Is Already Running.

What the code says

Florida follows the state Fire Prevention Code. When a fire alarm is out of service for more than four hours in a day, or a sprinkler system for ten or more, the standard calls for an approved fire watch until it's restored.

A real Fire Watch is a trained person on foot patrol with a written log, and nothing else on their plate. In a high-rise, that means the stairwells and the floors, not a lobby chair.

Who has the final say

Miami-Dade publishes its own fire amendments, so the fire official for your building has the final word on what's required. We confirm the requirement with them before the first shift, not after.

If your Officer is doing both regular security and the Fire Watch and a fire official finds out, the site can be treated as having no compliant coverage at all. So we staff it as its own post.

Codes and coverage are the easy things to write down. The questions people actually ask us are more practical.

Questions, answered

The Questions People Ask Us First.

Are you local to Miami-Dade?

Yes. Our Officers work Miami-Dade properties every day, from the downtown towers to the medical offices in Kendall. Coverage comes from a team that knows the city, not one meeting it for the first time on your job.

How fast can you get Officers to my property?

For short-notice or emergency guard coverage, we're often on site within 24 hours. For Fire Watch, our fastest start has been under an hour, and a standard setup runs about four hours. We won't promise you an exact arrival time before we know anything about your site, though. Anyone who does is selling, not scoping.

Which Miami-Dade cities do you cover?

Miami, Hialeah, Miami Gardens, Miami Beach, Homestead, North Miami, Coral Gables, Doral, Aventura, Cutler Bay, Kendall, Palmetto Bay, Miami Lakes, and the rest of the county. If your site is anywhere in Miami-Dade, call us. We very likely cover it, and we'll tell you plainly if we don't.

Can you cover Fire Watch and guards at the same site?

Yes, as two separate posts. Your Security Officer cannot also run the Fire Watch. If a fire official finds one person doing both, they may determine you had no compliant Fire Watch coverage at all. We can staff Fire Watch alongside Guard Services as two distinct assignments.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. There's no flat minimum. Some coverage is a few hours for a single event, and some runs every day, indefinitely. Tell us what you're dealing with and we'll scope your actual situation, including when it's smaller than you expected.

What does security cost in Miami-Dade?

As a general range, unarmed coverage commonly runs $28 to $40 an hour and armed coverage $38 to $55, depending on the property and the risk. Fire Watch runs $35 to $55. The full ranges and the factors that move a quote are covered when you request a site assessment. A cheap Officer who's often missing or unprepared costs you far more than the few dollars an hour you saved.

Most of what a property here needs starts with one of these. A few good pieces of reading can settle the rest.
